RE:  WATER SHUT OFF NOTICE -South Horners Lane

South Homers Lane -Nos. 301,303, 304, 306, 307, 309, 310, 312, 313, 314, 316, 317, 318, 319, 320, 321, 322,
323, 327

                  Dear Resident:

It is necessary to shut down the City of Rockville water main to make improvements in your neighborhood. Your water service will be shut off on Tuesday, July 24, from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. In the event of rain your water will be shut off on Wednesday, July 25, from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m.

This disruption may cause a discoloration to your water. If so, running the cold water for a few minutes will normally flush out any discolored water from your pipes. The disruption also may cause air in the line (water spurts from faucets or is cloudy). Opening a faucet located on the top floor of your home for a minute or so, then opening other faucets, one at a time and working from the highest to the lowest, should force trapped air from
the water system. 'l11esc conditions arc temporary and should clear up in less than 24 hours. If you still experience problems, please call the City Operations Maintenance Division at 2·Hl-31..._ R567.

We regret any inconvenience this action may cause. If you foresee any problem with this proposed water shut off, call Senior Construction Inspector Dan Stevens at 240-314-8552.
